Fan Focus: Mathilde – November 24, 2021
Welcome back, friends, to this week’s Fan Focus. It is time to meet a Wizarding World fan named Mathilde, a Gryffindor from France, who started a Harry Potter fansite with one of her sisters.
How did you become a Wizarding World fan?
I [have been] a Harry Potter fan since I [was] 11 years old (exactly the age when Harry’s life [took a] turn), and I never get bored of reading [the] books or watching [the] movies (even if the books are more complete!). It was my mother who introduced me to Harry Potter, and I thank her for that.
If you could have one prop from the set of Harry Potter or Fantastic Beasts, what would it be?
It is [a] difficult [question], there is so much! I would say the Marauder’s Map.
What is your favorite Harry Potter or Fantastic Beasts memory?
When I watch the [Harry Potter] movies with my mother and now my sisters!
Have you been to the Wizarding World? If yes, what is your favorite memory? If not, what would you want to do first if you could go there?
I am preparing [a] trip to London! I want [to] visit Diagon Alley or [the] Forbidden Forest.
If you could spend a day with a character from Harry Potter or Fantastic Beasts, who would it be and why?
Hermione! Because she is my favorite female character in the saga. I would like to talk to her; she is so smart but also listens to others and [is] understanding. I love her!
