Fans Spot “Secrets of Dumbledore” Costumes on Display at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London

by Mary Wojcicki · February 19, 2022

According to a post published to Instagram by user Rodney (@onespellaway) yesterday, February 18, a number of costumes from the upcoming film Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore were quietly put on display at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter. This news comes alongside yesterday’s announcement about the upcoming companion book to Secrets of Dumbledore, Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore: Movie Magic.

Rodney posted a photograph of one of the costumes. The photograph itself was taken by Hope Kilbey-Hay (@hopeocean).

Rodney published additional photos from Kilbey-Hay’s visit to the Studio Tour on Instagram Stories, and we have screenshots of those costumes below.

Based on what we know, these costumes are for Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne), Queenie Goldstein (Alison Sudol), Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law), and Gellert Grindelwald (Mads Mikkelsen). While the gold gown does not have a nameplate, one MuggleNet staff member noted that it’s speculated that this belongs to Vicência Santos, the Brazilian candidate for Supreme Mugwump (portrayed by Maria Fernanda Cândido).

What do you think of this new display? Are you planning to visit the Studio Tour to see the costumes in person? Tell us in the comments below!
