Bonnie Wright Announces US Tour for New Book “Go Gently”
Bonnie Wright is weaving some magic in honor of Mother Earth as she begins the United States tour this week for her newly released book, Go Gently: Actionable Steps to Nurture Yourself and the Planet.
A climate activist and Greenpeace ambassador, Wright tackles sustainability at home and how to take baby steps toward a more eco-friendly way of life. In her book, Wright breaks down every room in the home, identifying sustainable products, eliminating waste, and providing urban space gardening tips.
Having studied sustainability at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), Wright has spent the last decade using her celebrity platform from her role as Ginny Weasley to bring attention to poignant issues such as climate justice and environmental conservation. Professor Sprout would surely be proud!
The first part of the tour will begin with a book reading on Tuesday, April 19, at Barnes & Noble Union Square in New York City. The tour will then continue in New York City with a stop at Devoción coffee shop in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, on Wednesday morning, April 20.
The next day, April 21, Wright will return to Barnes & Noble, but this time at the Grove in Los Angeles, California. Finally, the book tour will reach its end on April 22 in Griffith Park in LA. This final stop will be a joint book reading and compost workshop in collaboration with LA Compost, an organization that seeks to improve the urban environment of LA via decentralized community compost hubs.
Tickets may still be available, so book yourself an exclusive reading with Bonnie Wright! You may learn a thing or two about spreading the magic of love to the planet.
