James and Oliver Phelps’s Travel Series “Fantastic Friends” Picked Up by Major Streaming Services

Do you know what’s just as exciting as visiting Fred and George’s joke shop in Diagon Alley? Watching James and Oliver Phelps host a travel series.

While we’re pretty sure Fred and George would’ve been great hosts of their own travel series if the wizarding world included television, we’re thrilled to see the actors who portrayed them so magnificently start their own. True to James and Oliver Phelps’s style, it won’t be anything like an ordinary travel show. Not only will they be trotting the globe and meeting up with their famous friends, including Harry Potter alumnae Evanna Lynch and Bonnie Wright, but they will also be hosting fun, magic-infused challenges. Sometimes we think they are Fred and George.

Fantastic Friends (we love the nod to Fantastic Beasts here), will consist of six glorious episodes and has been picked up by some major streaming services, including HBO Max, where it will be released next month. Meanwhile, fans in New Zealand will be able to stream the series on TVNZ on August 6, and it is already available to Canadian audiences on Bell Media’s Crave.

Fans can look forward to some great conversations, laughter, and scenery. The twins will be traveling to places like Dubai, St. Lucia, Iceland, and Ireland. We can’t wait to see all the shenanigans the twins and their guests get up to on their travels. One thing’s for sure: Mischief will be managed.

Growing up, I was a massive fan of Harry Potter and my love for the stories grew as I got older. It’s no surprise then that I love writing about all things Potter related. When I’m not writing about all the magic, you’ll find me reading (probably something Harry Potter related), listening to music, or writing some songs.
