Events Roundup: Magical Opportunities to Meet Some “Harry Potter” Actors

Potterfest
Potterfest is heading to Cubex, Prague, for the fifth time on September 3. There are so many things you can get up to when you’re there, including meeting some famous guests from the world of Potter, including Devon Murray (Seamus Finnigan); taking a closer look at the recently released Harry Potter LEGO sets; seeing live owls; taking part in costume contests and quizzes; and much more.

Edmonton Expo
Edmonton Expo (Canada) is back this September after being postponed for two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and Potter fans will be pleased to hear there’s a big Harry Potter star attending. Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom) has been announced as one of the celebrity guests, and if you attend, you’ll be able to have photo opportunities with Lewis as well as autograph signing sessions.
The event is taking place from September 16 to 18 at the Edmonton Expo Centre. Tickets can be bought as single-day tickets (from $27) or three-day passes (from $69). There is also a premium package available, which starts at $99.
My Guest
For the very first time, My Guest is opening its doors to actors from the Harry Potter series. At Cinema Capitole Studios in Avignon, France, on September 17, you’ll be able to watch interviews with special guests Georgina Leonidas (Katie Bell), Louis Cordice (Blaise Zabini), Stanislav Yanevski (Viktor Krum), Josh Herdman (Gregory Goyle), and Sean Biggerstaff (Oliver Wood).
My Guest, Avignon
The actors will take part in interviews, and the public will get the chance to ask them questions during the Q&A section. Signing sessions and photo opportunities are also available, and tickets can be booked online.
