You Can Now Spend the Night in the Knight Bus
One of the most memorable parts of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is the Knight Bus, a double-decker purple AEC Regent III RT that helps people travel around the wizarding community. Harry almost gets run over by it and rides on it after leaving Privet Drive. Dashing through the streets at unnatural speeds, the Knight Bus can shrink to fit through small spaces.
A new Airbnb in Kodak, Tennessee, allows fans to stay in a replica of the iconic Knight Bus that was converted from a 1982 World’s Fair replica of a 1916 Victorian-style trolley. Wizard’s Trolley of the Forgotten Forest boasts a large number of amenities to make the stay a truly unforgettable experience. While the Knight Bus can sleep several witches and wizards at night, this replica is only meant for four. It has two bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed, and one bathroom.
The impressive replica also features a full kitchen, laundry appliances, board games, books, and a Nintendo Switch. Guests can enjoy an outdoor fire pit, a private hot tub, and the property’s forest, which is full of giant swords, dragons, and other magical sights.
The Knight Bus, which is located close to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Sevier County, was created by the Forgotten Forest, “a new rental and residential community where fantasy meets reality.” While the community is currently under construction, it will eventually include castles, forest burrows, treehouses, and magical houses. The Knight Bus is the first fully finished home in the forest.
There have been several Harry Potter-inspired Airbnbs recently created. Some are replicas of places or objects in the Wizarding World, like this Airbnb.
