Larger-than-Life Wand Installation Coming to Warner Bros. Studio Tour London
Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter will be introducing an impressive new feature that is truly larger than life.
A 15-foot installation consisting of nine wands from the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts series has found a home at the studio tour following a tour around the United Kingdom earlier this year.
The installation originally debuted in 2018 in honor of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald and was put on tour in 2022 to celebrate Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore. The tour stops included Hull, Birmingham, Stoke-on-Trent, and Reading. The wands were also displayed in London in October 2021 for the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.
Starting November 7, the wands will be placed along the avenue between the main parking lot and the entrance of the studio tour in Leavesden. The props, which are all hand-painted, will be lit up from 8 am to 10:30 pm at a maximum brightness of 120 lumens.
Geoff Spooner, the general manager of Warner Bros. Studio Tour London, expressed his excitement about the new feature.
The wands are an impressive addition to the studio tour, which will create an exciting photo opportunity for visitors as they walk through this unique installation.
The studio tour is certainly the perfect home for this breathtaking display. Will you be visiting the installation? Let us know!
