Harry Potter: A Yule Ball Celebration Coming to Sydney This Winter

Have you ever dreamed of going to the Yule Ball? Well, now those in Australia have the chance! Harry Potter: A Yule Ball Celebration will make its way to Paddington Town Hall in Sydney on July 7 after successful tours in Milan, Italy; Montreal, Quebec; Houston, Texas; and Mexico City, Mexico.

The unique occasion is run by Warner Bros., with decor inspired by the magical stories and whimsical scenes of the Wizarding World. Guests are encouraged to wear their best wizarding world attire in order to fit in with their spellbinding surroundings. The evening will include interactive experiences, and guests will be able to engage with the hosts and take advantage of all the photo opportunities, as well as partake in iconic and beloved moments from the Harry Potter films. There will also be Hogwarts House challenges, a market for merchandise, and Wizarding World-style food and drinks all night.

Paddington Town Hall will light up to create an enchanting home for the event. There will also be engaging hosts to keep the ballroom dancing and celebratory interactions throughout the evening. Tickets are available starting May 3, but those who sign up for the wait list will secure exclusive access to early tickets. Quantities will be extremely limited, so make sure to get your hands on yours as quickly as possible.

Sydney | April 26, 2023 - ‘Have you ever dreamt of attending the Yule Ball?’ This winter, you are invited to the unique celebratory gathering, Harry Potter: A Yule Ball Celebration, coming to Australia for the first time on July 7, 2023. Following successful tours through Milan, Montreal, Houston, and Mexico City, it’s now Sydney’s turn to enjoy an evening full of festivities as the interactive experience brings its magic to Paddington Town Hall.

Launched by Warner Bros. Discovery Global Themed Entertainment and Fever, the leading entertainment discovery platform, Harry Potter: A Yule Ball Celebration is a spellbinding party where guests will be able to participate in iconic and beloved moments inspired by J.K. Rowling’s magical stories and scenes from the Harry Potter film series. The experience features several Wizarding World elements and celebrates the Yule Ball moment in a whimsical, elegant way. Although not mandatory, guests are encouraged to dress up in their best Wizarding World attire.

With the many different offerings at the celebration, from interacting with hosts to various photo opportunities, you don’t even need to know how to dance in order to partake in the experience and have fun. Throughout the event, attendees can enjoy Hogwarts [H]ouse challenges, delicious food, and beverages, as well as a market featuring branded merchandise.

For a limited time, the heritage-listed Paddington Town Hall on Sydney’s Oxford Street will light up in an enchanting, festive environment that promises to bring guests together in a celebration to remember. Engaging hosts will get the ballroom going with fun, celebratory interactions happening throughout the entire experience.
