Tom Felton Returns to Hogwarts, and Other “Hogwarts Legacy” News
Tom Felton returned to the wizarding world through the magic of Hogwarts Legacy in “Into the Shadows with Tom Felton.” The video, which was uploaded to YouTube on May 9, features Felton playing through Sebastian Sallow’s quest and reflecting on the storyline as a whole.

The quest in question was well suited to the former Draco Malfoy actor. In the game, Sebastian Sallow, a Slytherin, finds himself turning to the Dark Arts in order to protect his sister. Fans will undoubtedly make the connection to Felton’s famed character, who holds a fascination for all things evil but ultimately becomes enslaved to Voldemort to protect himself and his family.
Felton acknowledged this interpretation but noted that he was inclined to create his own legacy during the playthrough, instead of making Malfoy-inspired choices. That said, he quickly personalized his character in a distinctly Draco-like design (“more of a Draco swoop,” he commented, trying to select the right hairstyle) and celebrated when he was Sorted into Slytherin. “Yeah, it feels like home,” Felton reflected as he entered the common room. As for the actual questline, did Felton choose to err on the dark side? Watch Hogwarts Legacy‘s video below to find out.
In other news, the already record-breaking game is keeping up its momentum. Since its launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in February, Hogwarts Legacy has sold more than 15 million units and made $1 billion in sales globally. We can only expect this trend to continue in an upward direction, especially since the game launched on May 5 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Nintendo Switch players still have a bit longer to wait since the game will be coming to them on July 25. Luckily, it seems Hogwarts Legacy is intent on dropping plenty of special features in the meantime.
