Alongside the announcement of the launch date, a new trailer has been released, showing us more of what we can expect from the game.
Players can fully immerse themselves in the Hogwarts experience, getting Sorted into your Hogwarts House, taking classes (you might even notice some familiar professors along the way!), and exploring the Hogwarts grounds, including the Forbidden Forest. You’ll also be able to customize your own character, making changes to your hair, features, and clothes and accessories, as well as changing the look of your wand and your owl companion.
You will learn to master a whole host of spells that can be cast by using the cards, employing unique strategies to create winning combinations. Duel with other players as you venture through the challenges, which will increase in difficulty as you progress through the game.
Magic Awakened has been codeveloped and copublished by Warner Bros. Games and NetEase Games, and it will launch under Portkey Games.
Players are able to preregister online for the chance to earn an exclusive card pack and other rewards upon the game’s release. Fans are clearly keen for the game to launch, with the milestone of two million signups being reached at the start of June.
