Black Family Incorrect Quotes That Make Us Cackle – Ft. an Unhinged Regulus Part Two

There are many words that can be used to describe the (in)famous Regulus Arcturus Black, depending on who you ask. If you were to approach Walburga, his mother, she’d probably wax on about how he was the perfect son, and how he should have been the heir to the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black. If you were to question Sirius, he’d say that little Reggie was a right, foul git who did nothing but follow their fanatic parents. Kreacher, on the other hand, would weep about how his master was the kindest and most righteous wizard to have graced magical Britain.

These are all great interpretations of the ever-illusive R.A.B., and they definitely have their appeal. Even still, we believe that Regulus has another quality that we wished to see more of: being an unhinged idiot. 

Growing up in Grimmauld Place definitely did a number on all its inhabitants. Sirius became seriously dedicated to being the most mischievous Gryffindor of all time to spite his darling mother. Bellatrix worked towards being the first lieutenant of the literal Dark Lord, and she succeeded. Regulus spent his whole life adhering to his family’s standards, only to later betray the Dark Lord his cousin so devotedly serves. 

Any member of the House of Black is bound to have some issues, and in Regulus’ case, unhingedness comes in many forms. Now, it would’ve been brilliant to see this, but we barely had any time for Regulus’ crucial bits, let alone his unhinged moments. That won’t stop us from envisioning what sort of out-of-pocket things he’s done, though.

So, without further ado, we present moments of Regulus unhingedness that we definitely think happened.

Of course Regulus’ unhinged activities wouldn’t be complete with his favorite cousin, now, would it?

Ah yes, in which Regulus accidentally (at least, that’s what he’d like for you to think) downs a bottle of Firewhisky instead of his usual coffee.

Now, it wouldn’t be Regulus being unhinged without engaging in snarking at his brother. Siriusly, verbally assaulting his sibling is one of Regulus’ favorite pastimes. Truly, these brothers deserve an award for how often they manage to get at each others’ throats.
