Vote for Your Favorite ‘Harry Potter’ Film Tracks in MuggleNet’s Magical Movie Music Madness
The Harry Potter films were a grand feat of filmmaking, from acting to sets to costumes to special effects, and part of their charm was thanks to the absolutely magnificent soundtracks. Whether the scores are heartwarming, tearjerking, awe-inspiring, action-packed, rollicking, terrifying, or mysterious, they truly bring the magic to life. Composers John Williams, Patrick Doyle, Nicholas Hooper, and Alexandre Desplat each injected the movies with their own unique style while keeping that distinct soundscape of the wizarding world. But which piece is the best of all? It’s up to you to decide in this year’s March Madness bracket: Magical Movie Music Madness!
MuggleNet staff have selected 64 of our favorite pieces of music from the eight Harry Potter films. To keep things fair, broad repeating themes that include music from various scenes like “Hedwig’s Theme” and “Harry’s Wondrous World” will not be participating. Vote for the tracks that you’re always humming to yourself, that make you cry, that you played or plan to play at your wedding, that lift your spirits when you’re down, that send an exciting shiver down your spine, that bring you back to Hogwarts every time.
Cast your votes in each round to determine the most magical movie music:
- Round 1: March 1–8
- Round 2: March 9–16
- Round 3: March 17–22
- Round 4: March 23–26
