The calendar may still insist it is September, but the Harry Potter Shop has apparently decided there is no reason to wait until December to start decorating the Great Hall.
The official Harry Potter Shop has unveiled its new 2026 Christmas collection, bringing a sizable batch of seasonal apparel, decorations, collectibles and gifts inspired by some particularly festive corners of the wizarding world.
This year’s new offerings put a focus on Christmas at Hogwarts and a wintry Diagon Alley, alongside returning holiday staples such as ornaments and much-loved Advent calendars. Some items are available now, while others are currently listed as coming soon.

Christmas Comes to Hogwarts
Anyone whose ideal Hogwarts aesthetic involves considerably more snow and considerably fewer end-of-term exams has plenty to work with here.
Among the biggest pieces is the Hogwarts Christmas Knitted Sweater, priced at $75, along with a $68 sequin version for people who believe Christmas knitwear should be bold and sparkly. Hogwarts Christmas pajamas are also on the way for $50.
The home and collectibles side may be even more tempting. A Hogwarts Christmas Gold Snow Globe is available for $40, while new Christmas decorations depict familiar symbols including Hogwarts Castle, the Hogwarts Express, the Sorting Hat and a Hogwarts acceptance letter. Gold versions of those ornaments are priced at $28, with additional metal and velvet designs also included in the range.
There are smaller cozy additions, too, including Hogwarts Christmas slipper socks and a holiday photo frame, plus upcoming mug-and-sock gift sets themed to Hogwarts Castle and the Hogwarts Express.
Diagon Alley Gets a Winter Makeover
Diagon Alley also receives its own seasonal collection this year, with clothing and collectibles built around the idea of the wizarding shopping district at Christmas.
One of the standout pieces is the $65 Diagon Alley Christmas Hoodie, which features illustrated versions of six storefronts, including Ollivander’s and Quality Quidditch Supplies. There is also a $68 Diagon Alley Christmas Knitted Sweater with a Fair Isle-style design, giving the collection a slightly more traditional Christmas look without losing the wizarding details.
The wider Diagon Alley range includes snow globes, ornaments, homeware and other winter accessories. It’s one of the series’ most comforting recurring images: wizarding shops glowing with life and magic against a cold London evening.
The Advent Calendars Are Back
The Harry Potter Shop is also bringing back its much-loved Wizarding World Advent calendars for 2026.
Two are currently listed as coming soon: a Funko POP! 2026 Advent Calendar priced at $49.99 and a much more elaborate Time Turner 2026 Advent Calendar priced at $111.99.
The broader Holiday Collection is already substantial, with more than 100 products currently gathered on the Harry Potter Shop website. That number includes some previously available seasonal merchandise alongside the new 2026 releases, so shoppers may want to look for the “New In” label when hunting specifically for this year’s additions.
And yes, it may be early September. But Hogwarts begins decorating for Christmas somewhere between Halloween and the moment the first person decides it is socially acceptable to wear a knitted sweater covered in castles, so we are choosing not to question it. Plus, we were sipping Butterbeer and pumpkin spice lattes in July, so we really can’t judge.
