The Wizarding World is getting a new generation of LEGO sets. New Harry Potter products inspired specifically by HBO’s upcoming television adaptation are officially on the way, giving collectors our first indication that the series’ redesigned version of the magical world will extend into LEGO form.

Details are still extremely limited, including which locations, characters, or scenes will be represented and when the first sets will arrive. With the HBO series introducing new versions of Hogwarts, its costumes, props, and other familiar elements, however, the announcement opens the door for LEGO to reimagine some familiar parts of the Wizarding World with entirely new designs.

LEGO has been producing Harry Potter sets for more than two decades, but a collection based on the HBO series would mark a major new chapter for the long-running partnership. We’ll be keeping a close eye out for set names, images, release dates, and pricing as more information is revealed.
