“Potter” stars triumph at 2014 BAFTA TV Awards
Congratulations are in order for several former Potter cast members, who were victorious at tonight’s BAFTA TV Awards.
Firstly, Broadchurch, the ITV drama series that starred David Tennant (Barty Crouch, Jr.), picked up three awards for Best Drama, Best Actress, and Best Supporting Actor, which went to fellow Potter alumnus David Bradley (Argus Filch). The BBC’s feature length episode of long-running series Doctor Who, The Day of the Doctor, which starred Tennant and John Hurt (Garrick Ollivander) won the Radio Times Audience Award.
Finally, Julie Walters (Molly Weasley) was awarded with a prestigious BAFTA Fellowship for her extraordinary contribution to the arts. You can watch an interview with Walters on the red carpet below:
