Harry Potter fans in Sweden and throughout Europe can rejoice, as they now have the chance to experience Harry Potter: The Exhibition, which makes its European debut today at Nya Parken in Norrköping, Sweden. During last night’s premiere events, actors James and Oliver Phelps, who played Fred and George Weasley in the Harry Potter film series, were on hand to welcome the first guests as they celebrated the opening of the tour’s first stop in Europe. In partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, Global Experience Specialists, Inc. (GES) created the 1,400‐square‐meter experiential exhibition, where visitors can immerse themselves in dramatic displays inspired by the Hogwarts™ film sets and see the amazing craftsmanship behind authentic costumes and props from the films. Original artifacts, props and costumes from all eightHarry Potter films will be on display.

Harry Potter: The Exhibition has been experienced by nearly 3 million fans since it made its world premiere in Chicago in April 2009, followed by nine stops in North America, Asia and Australia. The exhibition opens today, Thursday May 29, 2014, at 10 a.m. and runs through Sunday, September 7, 2014.

General public admission to Harry Potter: The Exhibition is SEK 195 for adults, SEK 180 for students and youth (14-17 years) and SEK 160 for children (7‐13); children under 7 years of age are free of charge.
