Personally, I don’t think you could lose either way, but let’s take a look.

WEASLEY SWEATER

Pros

  • It’s ultra-warm.
  • It’s personalized with your initial, so that’s kind of handy.
  • You can match all your friends… or at least the Weasleys.
  • It’s made with love.

Cons

  • If you have red hair, it will clash if you receive a maroon sweater.

CHOCOLATE FROG

Pros

  • IT’S CHOCOLATE.
  • It’s very useful in the event of a Dementor attack.
  • It comes with a famous witch or wizard collector’s card.

Cons

  • You could get a card you already have (e.g., Ron Weasley).
  • Your frog escapes, and you have to chase it to eat it.
