MuggleNet Live! 2015: What Are They Up to Now?
Although much of the talk at MuggleNet Live! last weekend centered around the Potter films (of course) and stories from set, talk also turned to the future. While we’re waiting impatiently for more news on Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, many of the actors and actresses talked about what they’re up to now and what projects they have coming up.
Here’s a summary of what some of our special guests said over the course of the day.
Jessie Cave (Lavender Brown), as we previously reported, has her first book of illustrations coming out this July, called Love Sick. She is also taking another comedy show to Edinburgh this summer, which will be called I Loved Heri She says the show is about her obsession with her boyfriend’s exes.
Harry Melling (Dudley Dursley) has been doing a lot of theater and writing.
Robbie Jarvis (young James Potter) has recently been onstage in various plays.
Alfred Enoch (Dean Thomas) spoke about his recent hit series, How to Get Away with Murder, which is currently airing in the United Kingdom.
Natalia Tena (Tonks) is currently busy with her band, Molotov Jukebox, and has been touring. She also has a new TV series starting called The Refugees and a mockumentary film coming out called SuperBob later this year. SuperBob stars, among others, actress and comedian Catherine Tate.
Afshan Azad (Padma Patil) said that although she has a few upcoming projects lined up, she is currently enjoying the opportunity to spend time at home again and be with her family and friends.
Chris Rankin (Percy Weasley) works in a production office. He is currently working on a pilot for 20th Century Fox, called The Bastard Executioner.
Gary Tomkins (art director) is currently working on Star Wars.
MinaLima (graphic designers) revealed that they will be working on Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them… watch this space!
