On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, the Broadway production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at the Lyric Theatre will officially debut the Year 7 Cast, including film-series alum Tom Felton reprising his screen role of Draco Malfoy. Felton’s run is scheduled from November 11 2025 through May 10 2026, though the rest of the Year 7 cast will likely remain in their roles for a full year.

The play holds a record from the Guinness World Records as the highest-grossing non-musical Broadway play, with over US$430 million in total sales and over 3.5 million tickets sold.
It became the third-longest-running Broadway non-musical play (as of September 1 2025) when it surpassed 2,328 performances.
For a non-musical play, it also broke weekly gross records, earning around $2.72 million in a single week. (This record has recently been broken by other celebrity-led hits like Good Night, and Good Luck.)
