Gary Oldman Voices the Villain in “LEGO Dimensions”
LEGO has taken the toys-to-life genre of gaming to a whole new level with their latest release, LEGO Dimensions. What’s even more exciting is that the fan-favorite voice-over cast of the video game includes Gary Oldman, known to Harry Potter fans for his role as Sirius Black.
Since his last (and heartbreaking) appearance as Sirius in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2, Gary Oldman has been part of several interesting works, from The Dark Knight Rises to his upcoming sci-fi film, The Space Between Us, which is said to hit theaters in 2016. Not one to shy from eclecticism, Oldman took up his latest project, Lego Dimensions, which was released last month.
Oldman voices Lord Vortech, the game’s prime antagonist and mastermind, who seeks to take over the LEGO multiverse as he proclaims, “Every dimension is mine!” in the behind-the-scenes video released by LEGO. Oldman is no stranger to voice acting, having previously lent his voice to video games such as Call of Duty and The Legend of Spyro.
LEGO Dimensions came out on September 27 and is now available for purchase. Watch the behind-the-scenes snippet of the Dimensions cast below!
