Ten Spells I Wish I Could Perform

There are so many times I wish I could perform magic. Apart from being able to perform a spell in any extreme situation, there are many that would make my life a lot easier. Below are the ten spells that I would love to use.  

 

1. The Summoning Charm (Accio)

 

The Summoning Charm is perfect when you’re curled up in bed and forget your phone on the other side of the room or when you leave home and you’ve forgotten something. It’s a fantastic spell to improve efficiency, but it would definitely increase laziness.

 

2. Apparation
   

 

Although technically not a spell, Apparition would still be incredibly useful. It would save so much time when traveling, meaning extra time in bed when you have an early morning.

 

3. The Wand-Lighting Charm (Lumos)

 

Anyone with a smartphone can perform this function, but it would be great to not have to worry about my limited battery life.

 

4. The Mending Charm (Reparo)

 

This spell would be so useful when I break another plate. I wouldn’t have to worry about dealing with broken pieces of glass everywhere or replacing my dwindling crockery supply.

 

5. Undetectable Extension Charm
   

 

Being able to use this spell means that I wouldn’t have to carry gigantic suitcases when I travel. Also, it would be amazing to be able to fit all my daily essentials into a tiny bag.

 

6. The Unlocking Charm (Alohomora)

 

I would no longer have to remember to bring my keys or have to worry about key cards that no longer work. Never would I have to worry about being locked out of my house ever again.

 

7. Episkey
   

 

I am, and have always been, a klutz, so this spell would save me a lot of pain and time. My broken arms and sprained ankles would be fixed with one word.

 

8. The Levitation Spell (Wingardium Leviosa)

 

Instead of using this spell to levitate trolls’ clubs, it would be fantastic when carrying my suitcases or heavy shopping.

 

9.  Muffliato Charm (Muffliato)
   

 

This is perfect when you and your friends are having a private conversation and you don’t want anyone else to hear you.  

 

10. Scouring Charm (Scourgify)

 

My least favorite chore is definitely cleaning, and with this spell, I wouldn’t have to anymore. Plus, it would be very useful when dealing with those hard-to-reach places.
