The Top Ten Weirdest “Harry Potter” GIFs

Here at MuggleNet, we absolutely LOVE using the appropriate GIF every chance we get. Well, sometimes when we’re searching for that perfect image, we come across some that are just a bit strange. These GIFs in particular were just a little too weird to ignore, and too intriguing to let go to waste:

1. “Happy Christmas, Harry”

 

 

So I stumbled upon this one when I was looking for Christmas GIFs for my Potter edition of “The Night Before Christmas.” I’m pretty sure I’ve never seen anyone so happy over a candy cane, which is what makes this one pretty hilarious.

2. Dumblepuff

 

 

Is there an inside joke that I’m missing that goes along with this GIF? I really want to know the story behind it. I want to know what was going through the creator’s head when they spent hours on this masterpiece.

3. The dog chooses you

 

 

I seriously love the copious amount of Harry/food GIFs that are floating around the Internet. This one has just got to be the best, though; look at the joy and surprise radiating from Harry’s face over that corn dog. I’m a gluten-free vegetarian, and it still makes me want to eat that corn dog!

4. Malfoy, the burger king

 

 

Well, maybe I was a little hasty when I said that corn dog was the best food GIF. I know we’ve all seen this at one point in our lives, but it still holds its weird little place in my heart. This one is definitely an oldie but a goodie—a classic whopper, if you will.

5.  Albus’s shame

 

 

I just can’t imagine who would even think of this when they watched this part of the movie. It’s awful yet hilarious at the same time. I feel really bad for watching it for more than a few seconds. Poor Dumbledore… he just wanted to feel pretty!

6. Drapple

 

 

Does this count as a food GIF? Are we beginning to see a pattern? Regardless, I had no idea the Drapple ship existed until I stumbled across the GIFs while looking through a “Malfoy” Google search. This wasn’t even the most unusual one I saw, but some were downright disturbing and shouldn’t really be witnessed anyway.

7. Voldy Spears

 

 

Out of all the dancing characters to choose from, this one is my favorite. Voldemort’s facial expressions plus the body movement makes it ultra creepy.

8. Villains always have mustaches

 

 

I wonder; if Voldemort had a villainous mustache, would he have defeated Harry? Or is this supposed to be merely a sneeze? When I look at this, all I can see is the guy on the Pringles can. What is going on here? It leaves us so many unanswered questions.

9. What did you say?!

 

 

Here’s another classic that has definitely earned its spot on this list. There are many of these lip reading GIFs, but the Snape ones always seem to be the best. I can’t even remember what he’s actually saying here because that caption fits so well.

10. And then there’s this…

 

 

This is probably the perfect picture to finish this odd collection. I have nothing punny or clever to say about this one, though. Are words even needed? I think it speaks volumes for itself.
