Trailer for “Mudbloods” Released

If you’re into the Muggle-adapted sport of Quidditch, then this movie is for you! Mudbloods follows the story of the UCLA Quidditch team as they struggle to bring the sport to life. Through torment and hardship, they rise to prove themselves against all odds.

First adapted by Middlebury College, Muggle Quidditch is now a serious worldwide sport. It may not have flown (pun intended) onto ESPN quite yet, but having seen the sport first-hand, there’s no doubt in my mind that it eventually will. Players may not have the fear of plummeting 100 feet to the ground from their broomsticks, but the potential injuries are far from minor. Just as tough as rugby and only played with one hand, Muggle Quidditch is making a name for itself.

Shout-out to UCLA for showing the power of being a little weird and also a shout-out to Alex Benepe, who is the current CEO of US Quidditch and featured in the trailer.

The movie is due out sometime in the fall, and we sure can’t wait to see it!
