“Harry Potter: The Exhibition” to Celebrate the Holidays in Brussels
Good news, Belgian Potter fans: Harry Potter: The Exhibition has extended its stay in Brussels for another two months.
On November 6, the exhibition will close at its current location, where it has been since June 30, 2016, as planned. It will then reopen a week later, on November 12, at Palais 2 of the Brussels Exhibition Centre. From November 9 to November 11, the exhibition will be running a special contest on its Facebook page for the chance to be at the holiday extension kick-off with actor James Phelps (Fred Weasley).
This extension will feature two new props previously not seen: the flying Ford Anglia and the chess knight Ron Weasley rode in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. In addition, costumes and props from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, which will be released in Belgium on November 16, will be on display. To top it all off, the exhibition will be decorated for Christmas, including falling snow in Hogsmeade!
The exhibition will now be in Brussels until January 8, 2017. Tickets can be purchased online.
