Eddie Redmayne’s Hopes and Fears for “Fantastic Beasts”
Tonight we are working at full force to bring you all the new, spectacular news surrounding Fantastic Beasts. All of this information is coming to you straight from roundtable interviews with Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, David Heyman, David Yates, Alison Sudol, and Dan Fogler, conducted a few short hours ago.
During one of these discussions, Eddie Redmayne describes how he feels about the film ― overall, he seems enthralled. Listening to him gave me hope once again for the wizarding world! After the fiasco that was Cursed Child, many of us certainly felt a bit uneasy about the future of Rowling’s universe. However, I’m more excited than ever after listening to Redmayne describe the script! He compares the feeling of Fantastic Beasts to the “heart” that the Potter films had, which is something that many people thought was lacking in Cursed Child.
Whatever happens, I think this is a wonderful story to be a part of.
He says that there will be a second movie “only if people enjoy this one,” but that doesn’t seem to be a huge concern from the way he describes the characters and storyline:
What’s lovely is that Jo has written characters that have arcs, and that have complications and intricacies that will be wonderful to discover.
Eddie hopes that people will love the movie for this reason… so then what are his fears?
This may come as a shock to most of us, but he fears his career could come to an end with this film ― jokingly, of course! Why, you may ask? There may have been some slightly risque footage caught when they were filming a mating dance!
There [are] about ten videos somewhere out there in the world that could end my career!
We certainly can’t wait to see what all the fuss is about, and surely you can’t either! Be on the lookout for more information shortly!
