Hogwarts Is a Winter Wonderland
to the tune of “Winter Wonderland” by Richard B. Smith and Felix Bernard
Christmas trees in the Great Hall,
And there’s Peeves throwing snowballs.
The castle’s alight,
We’re feasting tonight,
Hogwarts is a winter wonderland.
Presents lay by the bedposts.
Students play as the school ghosts.
Sing holiday songs,
As they float along,
Hogwarts is a winter wonderland.
Sprout puts scarves and socks on all the mandrakes.
Flitwick sings with armor in the halls.
Hagrid hangs the tinsel from the ceiling,
And Filch scrubs all the portraits on the walls.
Later on,
We’ll jar blue fire,
As we call Snape a liar.
To face the Dark Lord,
Defeat a chess board,
Hogwarts is a winter wonderland.
On the grounds, Fred and George throw snowballs
At Quirrell’s purple-turbaned head.
They laugh, but little do they know
Voldemort wants to come back from the dead.
When you’re home, ain’t it fulfilling?
When you’re friends are willing
To fight by your side
During yuletide.
Hogwarts is a winter wonderland.
The castle’s alight, we’re feasting tonight,
Hogwarts is a winter wonderland.
The castle’s alight, we’re feasting tonight,
Hogwarts is a winter wonderland.
