Warner Bros. Studio Tour Welcomes Ten Millionth Visitor!
Since it first opened its doors, Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter has welcomed a constant stream of visitors from all over the world. And with the additions to the tour and the regular special events, many have returned time and time again to revisit the magic – and we don’t blame them (after all, we’ve been quite a few times ourselves)!
Well, the Studio Tour revealed today that it has welcomed its ten millionth visitor through the doors! The lucky ten millionth visitor was eight-year-old Olivia Murray from Newcastle. Olivia was given the chance to sit in Dumbledore’s chair for a special photo opportunity.
Geoff Spooner, Vice President and General Manager, spoke about the development of the tour and teased at exciting things to come.
It’s amazing to have welcomed our ten millionth visitor to the Studio Tour today. Since opening in 2012, we’ve been delighted by the overwhelmingly positive response we’ve seen from Harry Potter fans all over the world. In that time, we’ve launched two permanent expansions allowing fans to walk through Platform 9 ¾ and the Forbidden Forest, received numerous awards and been rated as ‘Excellent’ [or] ‘Very Good’ in 96% of the 31,000+ reviews on TripAdvisor. With lots of exciting developments to come, we can’t wait to welcome more fans to experience the magic of the Studio Tour over the coming years.
If you’re thinking of heading to the Studio Tour this year, then make sure to check out the special upcoming features, including a Goblet of Fire feature running over this summer.
