“Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” Wins Big at Outer Critics Circle Awards
Winners of the 2018 Outer Critics Circle Awards were recently announced, with Harry Potter and the Cursed Child coming on top with six wins, as listed below.

This comes after Harry Potter and the Cursed Child received ten nominations back in April. The winners will be celebrated at a May 24 ceremony at Sardi’s Restaurant in New York City.
My Fair Lady followed Harry Potter and the Cursed Child with five awards, SpongeBob SquarePants with four, and Angels in America and Carousel with three awards each. Check out the full list of awards here.
Next week, the third West End cast of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will begin performances at the Palace Theatre in London on May 23 following the final performance from the current cast on May 20, 2018.
As recently as last week, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has won a total of 29 awards with 21 pending. 23 of those awards are from the original London production, the remaining 6 being for the Broadway production (won at this year’s Outer Critics Circle Awards). The next awards event is the Drama League Awards on May 19.
