Sparks Fly: Brits Vote on Most Memorable Kisses
In a recent poll, Britons weighed in on the most memorable kisses from TV, movies, and more. Unsurprisingly, royal smooches rose to the top of the list. Charles and Diana’s 1981 wedding day kiss topped the list with 25% of the vote. With 24% of the vote, the spaghetti kiss from Lady and the Tramp tied for second place with the 2011 royal wedding kiss between Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge. And in fifth place, 15% of Britons named the post-wedding kiss between Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex as the most memorable kiss.
So what do all these royal kisses have to do with the wizarding world? One magical snogging session also made the list: Hermione and Ron’s kiss from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1. With 7% of the vote, the Chamber of Secrets smooch came 14th on the list of most memorable kisses.
Another familiar face from Hogwarts also made the list. Dawn French (the Fat Lady) and Hugh Grant were number 18 on the list with 5% of the vote for their 1995 Comic Relief kiss.
