Social Media Roundup: Sharing the Love
Welcome back to MuggleNet’s Social Media Roundup! In this edition, stars of the Wizarding World have been sharing the love on Valentine’s Day as well as celebrating birthdays and reconnecting with old hobbies, old projects, and old friends.
Whether you love it or hate it, Valentine’s Day is a time when people celebrate their nearest and dearest. This February 14 was no different for the stars of the Wizarding World, who took to social media to share the love.
Evanna Lynch celebrated the day by baking this delicious-looking cake, complete with heart-shaped icing. She also revealed that the photos were originally meant to be featured on the Instagram feed for her podcast, Chickpeeps, but that they didn’t make the cut!
Katie Leung (Cho Chang) also took to Instagram to celebrate Valentine’s Day with her followers, with a play on the well-known “Roses Are Red” poem.

Afshan Azad (Padma Patil) celebrated the day by posting a wedding photo of herself and her husband.
Keen to remind everyone of the true meaning of the day, Chris Rankin (Percy Weasley) took to Twitter to share his Valentine’s Day tip.
Happy Valentines Day.
Here’s a little trick I learned.
Telling your nearest and dearest you love them doesn’t require spending money on flowers and chocolates and cards.
Just tell them, and show them.
Assuming they feel the same way, otherwise that’s probably harassment.

Bonnie Wright celebrated her birthday on February 17. She thanked her fans and followers for all of the birthday messages she received, stating that she was “feeling very loved.”
Wizarding World stars have also been sharing their love for other things these past two weeks, from old projects to old hobbies, and even old friends.
Matthew Lewis looks right at home in this photo at Hogwarts at Universal Orlando Resort. It’s nice to see Tom Felton showing the love for his friend in the comments!
Speaking of Tom Felton, everyone knows he loves creating his music. He stumbled across some of his old songs and kindly shared them for his followers to enjoy.

Warwick Davis (Professor Flitwick/Griphook) is incredibly passionate about every movie he’s ever worked on. These past few weeks, he has been sharing his love for the Star Wars franchise by posting about a very special flight to Orlando. The flight was renamed “The Falcon” for the Virgin Holidays Star Wars Experience, which took fans of the series to Orlando to visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney World.
