Social Media Roundup: Remember to Wear a Mask and Enjoy the Moment
Welcome back to another edition of MuggleNet’s Social Media Roundup! During the past couple of weeks, the stars of the Wizarding World have posted about adorable puppies, an engagement, wearing a mask, sports, important causes, creative projects, and more!
The majority of people are still experiencing lockdown because of the pandemic, which can make it difficult to fuel the creative fires. But these Wizarding World alumni have been resourceful and creative with their time while keeping safe. When they have had to venture outdoors, they wear a mask. Katie Leung (Cho Chang) and Chris Rankin (Percy Weasley) even shared posts with a touch of humor on mask tips.

Even though we haven’t seen much news coverage on the Black Lives Matter protests recently, that doesn’t mean they are not still happening. Katie Leung took to her Instagram and posted a reminder for justice that included an image of Breonna Taylor, the EMT who was shot and killed in her home on March 13, 2020.

Doing some stargazing, James Phelps (Fred Weasley) saw and photographed the comet Neowise, which passed by recently. The comet was discovered in March and was visible in certain locations for 70 days. It truly is magnificent.
