Cookie-Decorating Class
Cookies are delicious, but Harry Potter cookies are even better! You can even learn how to make them yourself. If you’re in Dallas, Texas, or the surrounding areas, check out Sift + Pour for a Harry Potter cookie-decorating class. Tickets are on sale now for classes on Wednesday, May 12 at 6:30 p.m. CDT. Those who enroll will be able to make four types of cookies and enjoy a couple of glasses of butterbeer as well. Everything you need to bake your treats will be provided by instructors. Harry Potter Day Camp for Adults
Camo isn’t just for kids anymore. Who says you can’t be young at heart when it comes to Harry Potter? We don’t. This local day camp experience for adult Harry Potter fans is a great way to blow off some steam. Guests will be Sorted into their Houses with colored cupcakes, butterbeer cookies will be served, and quidditch will be the game of the day. Tickets are on sale now for the day camp in Greer, South Carolina, starting at $99. The camp will take place on Saturday, May 29, starting at 1:00 p.m. ET. Art Challenge at Fort Morgan Library and Museum
The Harry Potter and the Patron Arts Showcase program is underway at the Fort Morgan Library and Museum in Fort Morgan, Colorado. Those who wish to submit their artwork will have a chance to win a Harry Potter prize bag. Submissions must be entered by May 24. John Cleese – Why There Is No Hope
John Cleese, the actor known for portraying Nearly Headless Nick in the Harry Potter movies, is bringing some laughs back to the world. Recorded from London’s Cadogan Hall, Cleese is sure to make you smile with his comedic commentary and joyful insights. Tickets are on sale to watch the stand-up recording until May 31. The 60-minute show is also followed up with a question-and-answer segment. Tickets are $20 per viewing. You can find more information on the event website.
Wizard Wand Workshop
The Yard marketplace in Perth, England, is hosting a Wizard Wand Workshop, which will have kids ages six and over create their own wands. Parents are required to stay on-site, though the little ones must be able to make the wands on their own. Plus, making your own wand without your parent’s help is probably more fun anyway. Tickets are on sale for £8 per child. Two workshops will be held on Sunday, May 23, starting at 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. BST. More information can be found on the event website.
