Hype Over Statement by Jim Dale

In a recent interview, the United States Harry Potter book narrator Jim Dale said this of J.K. Rowling: “She’s lived with ‘Harry Potter’ so long she really wants to kill him off.” Based on this, hordes of media sources (predominantly tabloids, including the Scotsman, the Mirror, and the Sun) have published articles claiming J.K. does indeed want to kill off the boy wizard. This is of course untrue; Dale was merely expressing his opinion.
