Wrap Up Warm and Step into the Festive Forbidden Forest at Hogwarts in the Snow
Thoughts of Christmas tend to start entering our heads around this time of year, and Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter is no exception. It is readying for its annual festive makeover once more, as tickets for Hogwarts in the Snow go on sale.
So what’s new for 2021? You will now be able to explore the Forbidden Forest as a wintry wonderland since it is set to receive a snowy transformation. The Forbidden Forest was added to the Studio Tour in 2017, but this is the first time it will be part of the festive transformation.
Hogwarts in the Snow returns to the Studio Tour from 13th November, for the very first time the Forbidden Forest will undergo a wintery transformation!

Alongside the Forbidden Forest, guests can also experience – as they have in previous years – the cobbled street and shop fronts of Diagon Alley, Hagrid’s hut, and the Hogwarts Castle model, each with a sprinkling of filmmaking snow.
From November 13, 2021, to January 16, 2022, guests can view the Great Hall in all its Christmastime glory, as if Dumbledore had enchanted it himself, from towering Christmas trees adorned with miniature witches on broomsticks to the dining tables ladened with a feast that even Ron would have trouble getting through (mostly because it’s all prop versions but still, a sight to behold).
Tickets can be purchased from the Studio Tour website. There are various ticket options available. Adult tickets are £47, child tickets (ages 5–15) are £38, and children under the age of 4 get in free (a ticket still needs to be added to your basket for them). There are two family ticket options: The first is for a family of two adults and two children, and the second is for one adult and three children, with both options costing £150. In addition, two complete studio tour packages are available, one for adults (£56.95) and one for children (£47.95). Both consist of an entry ticket, a paperback souvenir, and a digital souvenir guide.
While buying your tickets, you have the option to add extras to your basket: a souvenir guide (£9.95), priority parking (£10), a digital souvenir guide (£4.95), and a group digital souvenir guide (£12.95).
Coronavirus safety measures at the Studio Tour include a reduced capacity, wearing face masks for ages 11 and up (unless exempt), temperature checks using a contactless thermometer on entry, and cashless payment in the shop and cafés. Please make sure you view all safety measures on the website before purchasing your tickets and attending the Studio Tour.
If all the faux festive food has made you hungry, there are several eateries you could visit, including the Chocolate Frog Café, which serves a selection of sweet treats, and the Food Hall for a selection of hot and cold food.
And don’t forget the butterbeer.
There is so much to see at the Studio Tour, from the sets of the movies to costumes and special effects. Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter has always been a magical experience, but seeing it in the snow and festively decorated, well, it just sounds like it is something not to be missed. So what are you waiting for? Book your tickets now.
