First up, we've got exciting news for David Tennant (Barty Crouch Jr.), Kelly MacDonald (the Gray Lady), and Peter Mullan (Yaxley). They've all received nominations at this year's BAFTA Scotland awards. MacDonald has received two nominations for her performance in the crime drama Line of Duty. She could take home the Actress Television award and the Audience Award, which is voted on by the public. She'll have tough competition in the latter category, however. She'll face Tennant, whose performance as Dennis Nilsen in Des has gained him a nomination. Mullan has been nominated for the Actor Television award for his performance in Fatbaws, a suspenseful show about garden birds. Good luck to all three!
We've got a trailer to show you now! David Thewlis (Remus Lupin) stars alongside Olivia Colman (The Crown) in Sky's upcoming crime drama Landscapers. The drama is based on the true story of Susan and Christopher Edwards, who murdered a couple in Nottinghamshire, England, in 1987. They covered their tracks by pretending that the couple was still alive, even sending fake Christmas cards to their family. They kept up this pretense until October 2013, when their crimes were finally outed. Check out the trailer below!
Next up, we have a new role for Fiona Shaw (Petunia Dursley). She'll star alongside Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool) and Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag) in an as-yet-unnamed film directed by A Quiet Place star John Krasinki. Details of the film's plot have been kept very quiet, but we do know it will tell the story of a child rediscovering their imagination. The film is set to be released in November 2023, with production beginning next summer.
