Catch Bonnie Wright in Conversation with Evanna Lynch in May
It’s a big week for Bonnie Wright. Her first book, Go Gently: Actionable Steps to Nurture Yourself and the Planet, has hit the shelves ready to inspire readers to take steps to care for and nurture the planet.
To help celebrate the release of the book, she will soon be heading across the Atlantic to join her friend, fellow activist, and Harry Potter costar Evanna Lynch for an evening of conversation.
On May 10 in London, Wright and Lynch will share their thoughts on using their platforms for good, protecting the environment, and living more sustainably. The event will also be streamed worldwide for fans who cannot Apparate to the British capital.
Posting on Instagram, Lynch shared her excitement about interviewing her friend and revealed that she is inspired by Wright’s passion for making sustainability accessible.
Over the past few years, I’ve been very inspired by Bonnie’s lifestyle and her passion and commitment to sustainability and to making sustainable practices accessible for everyone. I’ve seen her in many different settings gently but consistently advocate for zero-waste facilities, and each time, it jolted me into realising how wasteful and careless of the planet my normal everyday habits become, unless I consciously choose otherwise. I’m still a newbie when it comes to sustainability practices and often feel that same sense of ‘Agghhhhh this is too much change!!!’ that I did when I started my vegan journey…but I think as with any lifestyle shift, the journey is not finite and it’s about continuous learning and growth. Anyway, the point I’m making is, I have LOTS of questions for Bonnie!! And I cannot wait to ask them and be part of this conversation on May 10th!
Hosted by How to Academy, “Evanna Lynch Meets Bonnie Wright” will take place on May 10 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:20 p.m. BST at Conway Hall in London. Tickets to the in-person event cost £24, or £37 if you want to purchase a copy of Go Gently to pick up on the night. There is also a handy couples ticket option, which admits two people to the event and purchases one copy of the book for £58.
For fans who are unable to make it to London, tickets to watch the livestream cost £15, or £26 with a copy of Go Gently that can be sent to addresses in the United Kingdom only.
