Wizarding World Livery on Planes and London’s Studio Tour Seeking Planning Permission for Illuminated Wands
From Wizarding World-customized planes in Brazil to potential giant wands in Watford, England, exciting things are coming for Harry Potter fans.
Wizarding World Livery on Planes
In partnership with Universal Orlando Resort, a plane owned by Brazil’s GOL Linhas Aéreas will display elements from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The aircraft features images of Hogwarts Castle, the Hogwarts Express, the Ukranian Ironbelly that Harry, Ron, and Hermione release from Gringotts in the final book, and much more.
Juliana Pisani, the marketing director for Latin America at Universal Parks & Resorts, has expressed her delight at the aircraft.
We are extremely excited about the aircraft inspired by the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. We are confident that Brazilian travelers will feel closer to Universal’s parks each time they board. The idea is that our visitors start living this fantastic experience of visiting Universal Orlando Resort during the flight and arrive even more excited to explore our attractions.

The aircraft is decorated on the inside too, with the baggage compartment featuring promotional images from the parks and the tray tables featuring decorative maps of both themed areas.
Illuminated Wands at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter
Warner Bros. has sought planning permission to erect nine illuminated wands at the entrance of the studio tour, between the main parking lot and the tour building.
These nine 16-foot-tall (4.85 m) wands are based on the props from the films and have recently been on show at various places throughout the United Kingdom, from Hull and Birmingham to Stoke-on-Trent and Reading. Now that the tour has ended, Warner Bros. wants them to be installed at the studio tour for visitors to enjoy.
It is not yet known when the decision on the planning permission will be made, but we will be sure to keep you updated with any news.
