Christmas Returns to Wizarding World Theme Parks
Break out those scarves and gloves because Christmas is coming back to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood. Beginning on November 12 at Universal Orlando Resort and November 25 at Universal Studios Hollywood, guests will be able to experience fan-favorite yuletide celebrations until the snowy magic melts away on January 1.
Inside the theme parks, attendees will get to bask in the holiday decor and discover festive cheer as Hogsmeade Village and Diagon Alley come alive with Christmas lights and garlands draped over the wizarding buildings lining the streets. It wouldn’t be a festive celebration without holiday staples like hot butterbeer and special holiday merchandise to take home with you, like Christmas ornaments, ribbons, stockings, and more.
Entertainment is the gift that keeps on giving as the Wizarding World of Harry Potter presents spellbinding Christmas performances by the Frog Choir, which will croak out seasonal melodies that all Muggle and wizarding children alike will enjoy. Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees will also break out toe-tapping wizarding holiday tunes, like “My Baby Gave Me a Hippogriff for Christmas” and “Accio Christmas,” on the Diagon Alley stage. Finally, cap off the night with the jaw-dropping, heartwarming light show “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle,” happening every evening from dusk until the park closes.
Remember, Christmas in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter is only around from November 12 to January 1 at Universal Orlando Resort and November 25 to January 1 at Universal Studios Hollywood. Will you be busting out your Christmas jumper and catching any of these holiday delights in the parks?
