Lady Violet Bridgerton – Hufflepuff
Lady Violet Bridgerton is the glue that holds her family together. She is a highly respected member of the ton who has an unwavering belief – due to her relationship with her late husband – that everyone should find their true love. She is an understanding, supportive, and observant Hufflepuff who wants nothing but the best for those she loves.
Kate Sharma – Gryffindor
Kate Sharma, now formally known as Viscountess Kate Bridgerton, is a Gryffindor. She came to London hoping to secure her younger sister with a love match from the Ton. Doubtful that she would ever marry, Kate threw all her energy into supporting this goal. She was surprised to learn that Anthony Bridgerton shared her love for competitive games and family honor, finally finding a love match of her own.
Cressida Cowper – Slytherin
Cressida Cowper would Sort into Slytherin. She plays a consistent role of doing whatever is necessary to steal a suitor from other ladies in high society and taunts Penelope Featherington whenever she can. Desperate to escape a bleak future, she goes as far as taking credit as a villainous Lady Whistledown.
Philippa Featherington – Hufflepuff
Season 3 of Bridgerton showed us Philippa Featherington’s kind heart. From talking about cheese to her husband to learning about the birds and the bees, she provides an unexpected comic relief as a character. She’s also the only family member to truly support her sister, Penelope, making her a lovable Hufflepuff. Now, Varley! The bugs!
Genevieve Delacroix – Gryffindor
One of the most underrated Bridgerton characters is Genevieve Delacroix, the local modiste. Her job helps her stay under the radar while hearing all of high society’s gossip as she measures customers for a new dress. Helping Penelope in her endeavors was a brave role to take on, making her a courageous Gryffindor.
Daphne Bridgerton – Slytherin
Daphne Bridgerton is a cunning Slytherin. From the first episode, we follow her search for love after the queen names her the diamond of the season. However, her use of manipulation tactics violated her husband’s trust in intimacy and almost cost her brother his life. She entered into society prepared to secure a match by any means necessary.
Lord John Stirling – Ravenclaw
New to Bridergton in Season 3 is Lord John Stirling. He is quiet, yet genuinely observant of others, especially Francesca Bridgerton. When she wanted a moment of silence, he gladly joined her. When she gave her honest opinion about her strong interest in music, he listened to her and gave her a thoughtful gift. He is a true Ravenclaw.
