Official Harry Potter Shop to Open in Chicago; Free Treats at New York Store
Chicago has had a healthy dose of wizarding world magic since the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child touring production kicked off last month, and it seems that will only continue. Warner Bros. Discovery announced recently that the Windy City will soon be home to an official Harry Potter Shop.
The new retail location will be in a 12,000-square-foot location at 676 Michigan Avenue, a street that hosts a renowned shopping district known as the Magnificent Mile. The spacious store is set to open in the spring of 2025 and will host several enchanting experiences, including unique photo opportunities, interactive displays, and original film props.
Sarah Roots, the executive vice president of Warner Bros. Worldwide Studio Tours and Retail, commented on the exciting upcoming addition.
Our ambition is to bring some Harry Potter magic to Chicago with our uniquely themed shopping experience and unmatched selection of products. I am delighted we have secured such a great property in a prime location and look forward to the opening next year.
