“Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions” Launched on Nintendo Switch

Gamers rejoice; Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is the latest Harry Potter video game to be available on Nintendo Switch.

Though it was previously thought that fans would wait some time to access the game on the system, players were able to purchase it just a bit over a month after it was released for PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. Quidditch Champions celebrated the launch by dropping a new and exciting trailer.

November 7 marked the first day of Season 1, themed after Defense Against the Dark Arts class. The season isn’t short on special features, from hero skins for favorites like Bellatrix Lestrange and Severus Snape to three new brooms each with its own unique upgrade tracks. Special events are included, such as Holidays at Hogwarts and the Yule Ball, with a new Snowy Burrow map as part of the former. New emotes, cosmetics and even wands are also available.

The same day also marked the release of “Pro Quidditch Mode.” The all-new gameplay mode introduced 6v6 PvP, which allows two teams of six players each to compete in matches online.

Switch players can experience the fun with a purchase of the digital Standard Edition for $29.99 (SRP) or the physical and digital Deluxe Editions for $39.99 (SRP). Will you be joining in?
