First Four “Harry Potter” Movies to Return to US Theaters in February
It may seem a bit early to think of Valentine’s Day, but it’s always wise to be prepared. If, like us, your thoughts occasionally wander to eyes “as green as a fresh pickled toad,” we have an excellent suggestion for you. The first four Harry Potter films are coming back to theaters.

The entertainment company Fathom Events and Warner Bros. are bringing the films back starting February 2025. Participating theaters include AMC, Cinemark, Megaplex, Regal, and Showcase Cinemas. The movies will be shown sequentially, starting with Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone on Thursday, February 13 through Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire on Sunday, February 16. Those who miss the first four-day period will have the opportunity to view the films during the following two weekends, February 20 through 23 and February 27 through March 2. Select screenings will also feature immersive formats, like 3D and 4DX.
The showings also honor a special anniversary, as those with incredibly long and specific memories may recognize that 2025 marks 20 years since the release of the Goblet of Fire film, which originally premiered in 2005. This makes a theater outing not only a great date idea for those celebrating Valentine’s Day weekend with a significant other but also an excellent opportunity to relive some of those cherished midnight premiere memories.
