PotterCon 2012 launches registration period – win a free trip for 2 to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter
PotterCon 2012 is the world’s first entirely-online Harry Potter conference, taking place September 7-9, 2012 with Livestream-based programming: in-character and academic, live wizard rock, screenings of fandom productions, original content and more – the proceeds of which are benefitting the Harry Potter Alliance (HPA).
Have you ever thought of attending one of the many Harry Potter conventions, but because of locations, expenses, or time restraints you just couldn’t make it? Well, here is the opportunity for you to participate in a once-in-a-lifetime event without ever having to leave your home. PotterCon will host more than 130 hours of programming, all of which will be recorded and available for a few short weeks following the conference to attendees only.
The registration period is open for only $20, and you can save $5 by using our coupon code “MUGGLE“! We encourage every Potter fan from around the globe to participate. It’s an entire weekend full of online collaboration with other Potter fans from around the world to make new friends, experience the magic, and help raise funds for our friends at the HPA.
To celebrate the launch, PotterCon is giving a lucky US PotterCon attendee the chance to win a FREE trip for two to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Resort in Orlando, FL, including airfare, park admission, and an on-site hotel. Only the first 2,000 attendees who register are eligible for the trip, so don’t miss out! Once the 2,000th attendee has registered, we will randomly select a winner and they will be notified via phone during a PotterCon Livestream.
To enter, you must register for PotterCon with the coupon code “MUGGLE” and be a US resident. International attendees can still use the “MUGGLE” code to get a discount, and should expect to hear about upcoming giveaways in later months. US attendees already registered are automatically entered to win.
