“Harry Potter” actors filming a Britain tourism promo this week

Rupert Grint and Julie Walters – Ron Weasley and Molly Weasley from the Harry Potter series – are fronting a national advertising campaign ‘Holidays at Home are GREAT‘ alongside Stephen Fry and Michelle Dockery in order to kick off the UK’s biggest ever domestic tourism campaign.

Produced by VisitEngland and supported by the home tourist boards of Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, and London, will showcase the country and highlight key events taking place including this summer’s 2012 Summer Olympics & Paralympics Games, Torch Relay, the Cultural Festival and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

The campaign will feature a website offering thousands of special deals worth at least 20.12% off including hotel stays, meals, tickets to attractions and other goods and services.

Fans of the Harry Potter series are sure to visit England from all over the world as the Warner Brothers Studio Tour opens on March 31.
