WB releases “Deathly Hallows – Part 2” trailer “for your consideration”

As we previously mentioned, Warner Brothers has established a “For your consideration” mini-site, which showcases their top films from 2011 which they hope to see nominated at the 2012 Academy Awards.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 is one of those movies up for consideration, and now Warner Bros. has added a small trailer on the site to showcase the film.

One hurdle Warner Bros. will have to overcome is the recent rule changes regarding nominations for Best Picture. Back in June, the Academy announced that instead of nominating 10 movies for Best Picture as they have done since 2009, they will now only nominate the movies they think deserve it (a number between five and 10).

Certainly Deathly Hallows – Part 2 will be on that list! Do you agree?
