Harry Melling Talks Fame and Weight Loss in New Interview
In a recent interview, Harry Melling, who is known for his portrayal of Dudley Dursley in the Potter films, talks of how he finds it “a godsend” that he doesn’t get recognised for his role in the franchise.
Speaking to the Daily Mail’s Saturday magazine, Harry discusses how his weight loss was motivated by his wish to “not play those [fat] roles for the rest of my life” but concedes that it has also had other benefits.
“No one recognises me on the Tube” Melling comments before going on to mention about the time he bumped into Daniel Radcliffe at the theater, who was accompanied by “a very tall man” he assumed was Daniel’s bodyguard! He also briefly discusses his time spent working with the late Richard Griffiths as well as his current role in Trafalgar Studios’s The Hothouse, our review of which can be found here.
