Hogwarts school songsheet signed by “Sorcerer’s Stone” cast up for auction
Zoë Wanamaker – who portrayed Madam Hooch in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone – is the daughter of Sam Wanamaker, the founder of Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London. She has given a very rare collector’s piece to be auctioned off at the Globe’s Gala Dinner and Auction – a cast-signed Hogwarts school songsheet.
The Hogwarts school songsheet includes the final four lines covered with signatures from the cast of Sorcerer’s Stone, including Richard Harris (the original Albus Dumbledore), Alan Rickman, Dame Maggie Smith, many of the children, including Dan, Rupert, and Emma, and of course Zoë herself. This piece is a silent auction piece, and the starting bid is at 15,000 GBP. It is beautifully framed and mounted and will look fabulous on any fan’s wall.
