MuggleNet SnitchCenter brings all of the latest in the world of Muggle Quidditch

We have plenty of Muggle Quidditch news updates, including the latest in Regional Tournaments, World Rankings, and more in this week’s MuggleNet SnitchCenter update.

Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship:

  • Villanova University clinched the Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship of 2012 with a nail-biting win over University of Maryland this past weekend, November 3-4, in Roanoke, VA.

Midwest Regional Championship coming this weekend:

  • Twenty-five of the best teams in the IQA’s Midwest US region will be descending on Mason, OH this weekend, November 10-11, to compete in the first Midwest qualifying tournament, the IQA Midwest Regional Championship.
  • The event will take place at Heritage Oak Park in Warren County. It is free and open to the public, and co-hosted and generously supported by the Warren County Convention and Visitor’s Bureau.

World Cup V Banners for Sale:

  • Quidditch players and fans can now pick up a piece of Quidditch history. Three banners from the fifth World Cup are now available for online auction, from now until November 18.
  • The large, vinyl banners (up to 8 ft long) are suitable for indoor and outdoor hanging, printed in full-color on one side, and have metal grommets for easy mounting or hanging. Each one features the World Cup V logo, designed by Andrew Nguyen.
