IQA launches South Regional Championship website
Quidditch season is gearing up in preparation for the final push to the Quidditch World Cup (QWC), which is slated for April 5 and 6 in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This QWC promises to be the best one yet, featuring the top 80 teams from around the world. Each team has to win its spot based on the play at its respective regional championships. While many of the regional championships have already taken place, there are a few left to go, including the South Regionals.
The IQA has just launched the minisite for the South Regional Championship, which is on February 15 and 16 in Rock Hill, South Carolina! Visit the site right here to learn more about the event, which features fourteen teams, including defending champions University of Miami, University of South Carolina, Tennessee Tech, and Florida State University.
The top teams at the tournament will join the other teams that have already won their QWC spot. If you live in the area and have never watched a Quidditch match, then take this opportunity to do so; the competition will be fierce!
