NBCUniversal has announced a deal with Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution for any broadcast and cable rights in the United States to all of the “Harry Potter” films, including “Fantastic Beasts”. The new partnership could also have implications for Universal’s “Potter” theme parks, including special events and screenings.
Amazon and Barnes & Noble have announced that “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child – Parts 1 & 2” has broken their records for the top best-sellers list.
A Norwich film heritage center will be renamed the John Hurt Studio in honor of the actor’s support of the Norwich at the Pictures project. Sir John Hurt played wandmaker Garrick Ollivander in the “Potter” films.
